一個(gè)振蕩器,兩個(gè)頻率

極低頻率漂移

為什么要替代石英?
一個(gè)2.0×1.6mm低成本硅振蕩器可以為多個(gè)IC提供時(shí)鐘。在1至220 MHz的頻率范圍內(nèi),其頻率穩(wěn)定性在-40至+85°C范圍內(nèi)最大為20 ppm,在-55至+125°C范圍內(nèi)最大為25 ppm。沒(méi)有石英晶振可以做到這一點(diǎn)!2.0 × 1.6 mm石英晶體的工作頻率僅為20 MHz,2.5 × 2.0 mm外殼的工作頻率僅為12 MHz。根據(jù)外殼和頻率的不同,這些微型SMD石英晶體的電阻為250至60歐姆(12至64 MHz)。根據(jù)每天進(jìn)行的客戶電路分析,Abracon的應(yīng)用工程師經(jīng)常注意到,要計(jì)時(shí)的振蕩器級(jí)的負(fù)輸入電阻不夠高,無(wú)法通過(guò)這些非常小的高歐姆石英晶體實(shí)現(xiàn)足夠的啟動(dòng)可靠性。汽車客戶甚至要求安全系數(shù)大于10!在非汽車應(yīng)用中,由于電阻非常高,非常小的石英晶體也無(wú)法實(shí)現(xiàn)足夠大的安全系數(shù)。此外,即使非常小的石英晶體仍然需要至少兩個(gè)連接到GND的外部電容,如果不是實(shí)際的外部電阻的話。所有這些都會(huì)占用PCB空間,而用戶通常不必留出這些空間,或者在下一個(gè)小型化階段將不再需要這些空間。一個(gè)2.0 x 1.6 mm的振蕩器幾乎不需要3.2 mm的PCB空間。僅此而已。這種解決方案非常靈活,非常實(shí)惠,壽命非常長(zhǎng),在小型化的下一階段是不可或缺的。另一個(gè)需要考慮的因素是通常非常高的驅(qū)動(dòng)電平,大于400 W至1 mW,甚至更高。許多用戶往往不知道電路中的驅(qū)動(dòng)電平有多高,因?yàn)闆](méi)有簡(jiǎn)單的方法來(lái)正確測(cè)量這個(gè)值。這些高驅(qū)動(dòng)電平極大地使小石英晶體過(guò)載,因此會(huì)大大縮短石英晶體的壽命。高驅(qū)動(dòng)對(duì)微振蕩器來(lái)說(shuō)不成問(wèn)題。只需從振蕩器級(jí)將CLC-OUT連接到XIN,就大功告成了。
